Questions...i would be interested in comments feom pilots who have flown Caribou or Buffalo, regarding the overhead controls placement? Comfort? Functionality? Eaase of operation? Any specific advantages/disadvantages compared to 'standard' placement? It looks like it makes it easy for flight crew to move from cockpit to cargo area, for example? Overall, what do you think of these aircraft for the kind of missions they seem to fly, reslly "dirty" operational areas, very tough terrain? That nose-down attitude when landing always looks like a crash about to happen ;-)

I have same issue with check engine light. The code said camshaft position and turbo boost. Also valve or the pulley might be the issue. But it shows oil pressure warning after driving at least 40 miles in total. I might have to take it to the dealer pay 150 to find out the issue if I can’t find a mechanic can work on Passat 08.

Flew on it to ННЯ couple of days back. For some reason I always get a window seat which isn't all too bad on short flights. So I also get to make videos...

There is no timing chain in that engine, it uses timing belt that needs to be change every 90k miles, that noise can be the serpentine belt tensioner.

Timing chain tensioner, replace do not drive until you fix that, your engine will be destroyed if that chain rattles around so much that it skips and gets off track, or breaks, it is not to late, beleive me fix it soon
